I consider Mary Brown’s has the best fried chicken in North America. The chicken and taters in this location are great - it’s as good as the original restaurant in St John’s. they never disappoint. The pieces are big, unlike KFC. Staff here are very friendly. Washrooms are clean. 5 stars. ** such big pieces of chicken. Hot and yummy. Wedges are phenomenal. Best.

Absolutely beyond incredible. My family and I were on our way home and this place was convenient. I was a little worried when I saw the photo but WOW. The chicken was incredibly juicy, the service was amazing. Throughout our meal I could hear the server's interactions with other customers, every single one was friendly, and I saw a lot of smiles. About the food, we were torn between the 18 piece feast and the 27 feast, and went with the 27 piece. Thank god we did, the whole thing got DEMOLISHED. I will say there tends to be little chicken per piece compared to other places. So that's something to keep in mind, maybe? Regarding spice. If you casually enjoy spice, the spicy chicken is incredible, so long as you have gravy and coleslaw. It can get too much otherwise, but the coleslaw immediately dampens the spice.
